I am passionate Mechanical Engineer with a journey that has taken me through diverse industries and roles. Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University in 2018 laid the foundation for my love and commitment to this field. Currently pursuing my MSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington, with an expected graduation date in March 2024, I bring over two years of hands-on industry experience that spans design, manufacturing, GD&T engineering standards, materials, and testing. My professional journey has been marked by a deep interest in the intricate process of creating comprehensive products, placing emphasis on creativity in design, CAD expertise, engineering calculations, and simulations.
A significant highlight of my journey includes collaborative work on the 3D printing filament extruder project with the 3D Sigmalab team. Together, we are constructing a plastic extrusion manufacturing line, aiming to be pioneers in commercializing this product and providing a cost-effective source of filaments for the 3D printing community. While acknowledging the presence of numerous similar products in the market, the driving question for us became: How can we enhance these solutions to make them superior, more cost-effective, and efficient? This mindset underpins our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in our field.
